Dude..

I have ONE class left tomorrow and 4 finals. Then I'm free. I have been so stressed this past week. Seeing the worst parts behind me is a really good feeling.

You know the semester took a toll on me when I leave the house with my hair looking like this...

 Though, knowing that in a week from today I'm going to have to go home and leave my beautiful home here and all of my amazing friends is really sad. I mean look at them, ain't they just wonderful?

I couldn't ask for better friends. I love them to death. I'm excited to go home though and sleep in my own wonderful bed and have my own room again. That'll be pretty great. 

Now to finish the last bit of Spanish homework I have...and probably take a nap.

The End is Near

I'm sitting outside in the sun on one of the first beautiful days of the year. It's about 83 degrees outside and I love it. There's two weeks left of classes and then finals week. Once I get through this week and do all my homework I'm pretty home free. I never get too worried about finals so I'm stoked that it's so close to the end.

Anyway...It was just general conference weekend. It was great. Also, I have the best friends that anyone could ever ask for, no lie. I love it here and as much as I'm excited to go home I really wish all of my friends could come with me. 

But...life is good. And I suck at blogging.

I Hate Titles...

This semester has been crazy. Life just keeps going and no matter how much you want it to slow down it never does. I had tons of homework and my classes just aren't as easy as they were last semester and in the past week I've had to write three different essays. A four page symphonic analysis for music history (that's only the first half...I still have the second part due in about a week), a 500 word concert report for the same class, and a 1,500 word document analysis essay for America and the Enlightenment. All of those on top of the regularly assigned homework and my other classes. It's been pretty crazy. I've gotten them all done before the weekend though, so I'm pretty much free from homework all weekend which is good because my friends and I have a lot of things going on this weekend. College is pretty great. Even with all the homework and stress I get tons of time to hang out with my amazing friends and to take naps. They are my favorite (:

The semester is over in just five short weeks and I'm heading home to the mountains of snow that will likely still be there. Which is depressing, but I get to immediately get on  flight to California. I stay there with my roommate Autum for two weeks and I get to go to Disney Land. Which I m so pumped for. I've wanted to go to Disney my whole life. After those two weeks then I'll be coming home and getting  job and having an insanely boring summer, but it'll be good to have money to pay for college which is hella expensive. Fo' serial. It's so worth it though.

Pros, Cons, and my 18th Birthday

Pros:

• This is the last week of classes
• I turn 18 on Tuesday 
• I have the best friends in the world
• I'm so going to see The Hobbit (:
• In less than 2 weeks I am flying home to see all my wonderful friends back home
• When I go home I get to go shopping. So excited.
• In a little over 2 weeks it will be Christmas
• After I finish writing the essay I'm procrastinating doing by making this post I will be done with almost all my homework for the semester. yay.
• I get to drive when I go home.

Cons:

• I have to actually write that essay.
• I have to actually do to classes this week.
• In 2 weeks I won't be able to see my wonderful friends for 2 weeks. Sad face.
• When I turn 18 I will be legally an adult. Boring.
• I did something weird to my ankle and it hurts...it's weird.

My Life...

So, know what really sucks?
Having your laptop die on you right before a huge research paper is due.
So you have to go to the library everyday over break to use the computer.
And it's really cold in the library.
And you're allergic to the new acne cream you were using so your face is swollen and bright red and insanely itchy.
That's my life right now.
But that's okay cause all my friends are coming back to campus tomorrow and I'm way excited.
And I'll be 18 in 17 days.
And I get to go home in 3 weeks.
And I'm almost done with that stupid research paper.
And I might have my computer back by Friday. So exciting.
So I've taken this opportunity, while being computerless to finally finish the Lord of The Rings trilogy. I have about 3 chapters left and I swear the last book is my favorite. I've decided that when I come home for Christmas I will have to have a LoTR marathon again.
A week from today is December (:
Way exciting...except I really need to find time to go Christmas shopping..and I live in the middle of nowhere so I also need to find a place to do it..or I might get stuck doing it all very last minute. Which is honestly more likely what is going to happen, even though I really hate doing that. Oh well.
I'm so ready to go home though..

Thoughts...

1. I have this really annoying super loud cough from being sick the past couple of days and it's really awkward when you're sitting in a silent class then you just cough really loud and sickly sounding and it disrupts the whole class...so fun.

2. I hate homework. Especially when it includes reading ancient Greek and Latin texts. Wah.

4. I so wish I was going home for Thanksgiving (is that a proper noun?) I feel like everyone else is and I'm just gonna be on campus all alone that weekend.

5. Eating frosting right out of the can makes any day better. Especially when it's cream cheese frosting.

6. I love my roommate Autum. She's my favorite.

7. I NEVER want to be a business major.

8. Fall is so pretty in Virginia...ahhh mountains (:

9. There's a Halloween dance this weekend.

10. My hair is growing back. I'm excited (: I miss my long hair sooooo much. Though my hair is kinda at that weird length at my shoulders where is always curls against my shoulder no matter what I do.

11. I really should be doing homework right now...oh well.

12. Taylor Swift's new album. 'nuff said.

uhhhh...yeahh I have 5 news articles to summarize and 3 essays to write and 2 books to read...so I should probably get to that..

Meh.
